The crown wheel pad is used to prevent direct contact between the crown block and the steel wire rope, playing an important role in protecting the steel wire rope. The steel wire rope of a mine hoist rotates during operation. If the friction coefficient is too high, it will hinder the rotation of the steel wire rope and damage it. What are the advantages of the crown wheel pad?

1. The friction coefficient of the lining block is small and the wear resistance is good.

(1) When the wire rope runs, it will rotate. If the friction coefficient is too high, it will hinder the rotation of the steel wire rope and damage it. In this case, the wire rope must be introduced into the shaft with minimal resistance to reduce torque and rotational stress.

(2) The molecular orientation and crystal orientation of the lining material result in a smaller friction coefficient and lower wear resistance of the lining. What are the precautions after installing the crown wheel pad?

1. After a week of gasket repair, the gap should not exceed 0.2 millimeters according to the actual situation

2. When manually rotating the winch, leave a pair of installation positions for the sizing blocks and block them with half a pair to prevent the sizing blocks to be installed from falling off from the sizing block groove.

3. All construction personnel must operate with caution and obey the unified command of on-site leaders.

4. All construction personnel must wear safety helmets, fasten safety belts, and other labor protection equipment as required.

5. During the construction process, the safety belts of construction personnel must be securely fastened.

6. Special personnel should be responsible for the ground and separated by red warning lines. Non construction personnel are not allowed to pass under the mast.

7. Old mats should be packaged in snake skin bags to facilitate shipment. It is prohibited to throw old protective pads at will.

8. When manually turning, other personnel must stay away from the pulley to avoid accidents.

9. The communication signal between the pulley platform and the winch room must be kept clear.

10. During the construction process, all tools and instruments must be pulled and throwing is strictly prohibited.
