2. The use of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pads has solved the shortcomings of PVC materials and has become a priority material for crown wheel pads. Polyurethane pads are expensive but have a long lifespan. Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene pads are inexpensive, but their lifespan is not as good as that of electronics. Depending on the usage environment and working conditions, both can be used as suitable materials for crown wheel pads in various mines

In order to extend the service life of the lubrication and steel wire rope, liners were used at the edges of the cast steel wheels of the elevator and crown wheel, and early liner modifications were made to the cast iron lubrication, achieving good application results.

The installation and replacement standards of the crown wheel lining blocks must be strictly carried out in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulations" in order to reduce changes in the lifting center, reduce wear on the tank and guide groove (device), extend the service life of the crown wheel, protect the steel wire rope, and achieve good application results. The selection of lining materials should be based on the use environment and working conditions, with the goal of extending the life cycle, reducing replacement frequency, and improving equipment operating efficiency.
