China will establish around 15 manufacturing innovation centers by 2020

【Summary description】On May 18, the State Council officially released the "Made in China 2025" plan, which is the Chinese version of the "Industry 4.0 Plan" and the first ten year action program for China to implement the strategy of building a strong manufacturing country. Subsequently, the "Leading Group of National Manufacturing Power" will be established in the near future, and the relevant approval will be passed soon.

On May 18, the State Council officially released the "Made in China 2025" plan, which is the Chinese version of the "Industry 4.0 Plan" and the first ten year action program for China to implement the strategy of building a strong manufacturing country. Subsequently, the "Leading Group of National Manufacturing Power" will be established in the near future, and the relevant approval will be passed soon.

The "National Leading Group for Powerful Manufacturing Countries" is the top leading organization of the "Made in China 2025" strategy. The relevant leaders of the State Council serve as the team leader, and the members are composed of heads of relevant departments and units of the State Council. The office of the leadership group is located in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, responsible for daily work.

According to the plan, China will establish around 15 manufacturing innovation centers by 2020 and strive to establish around 40 manufacturing innovation centers by 2025.

Made in China 2025 puts forward ten key areas for breakthroughs: new generation information and communication technology industry, high-end CNC machine tools and robots, aerospace equipment, marine engineering equipment and high-tech ships, advanced rail transit equipment, energy-saving and new energy vehicles, electric power equipment, new materials, biomedicine and high-performance medical equipment, and agricultural machinery equipment.
